Dr Pravati Panigrahi (Founder)

Better to light one candle than to curse the darkness.

The Founder Dr Pravati Panigrahi is a medical doctor with many years of experience in women’s imaging and telehealth and has always shown a passion for innovation and innovative thoughts. Her experience with telehealth sector began in her role in a teleradiology center, pioneered by a corporate Hospital in India and ISRO; which was established under the guidance of the visionary Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, then the space scientist of ISRO who became president of India later. Inspired by his simple innovative thoughts and motivations, she continued her interest in this sector pursued a higher studies in academic e-health at The University of Queensland and and also as imaging informatics fellowship in UNSW, Sydney. Her interest continued with new thoughts merging along the path.

Her deep interest in human behavior, community health, advanced science and innovative works led her to do some academic works in the field of related telehealth and Psychology, tele-imaging sector. Alarming surge in both stigma and suicide among youth and men always bothered her and her vision merged with the cause of helping people out by creating a platform that could bridge the gap in basic human rights like health and education.

Dr. Panigrahi’s vision is to reach to a wider group of people who are struggling to access much required medical support in both rural and urban areas. Education and available screening tool can help to prevent breast cancer, morbidity in chronic cases, in creating awareness both in physical and mental health. She strongly believes in the potentiality of e-health and mobile health to provide quality service and health screenings service to those in need, both rural and urban area.
